The first games kick off at 8am and you can find the full Match Schedule here. And how better to celebrate with the teams and fans than on a pub crawl around the favorite haunts of the hosts, the Village Lions.

I am especially looking forward to it this year as not only to get to see the Lions lads and lasses in action, my old team and good mates from DC, Washington Renegades, are taking part in Men's Social competition. Directions to the Tournament
The tournament is held on Randall’s Island, an island in New York’s East River. Randall’s Island is almost done with their major renovations, however, the area and fields we will be using for the tournament are finished. These include fields #70-75, #82-85, and #90-91 on the southern tip of the Island.
There is significantly more Parking available this year. Parking will be on a first
come, first served basis.
ON FOOT: PLEASE NOTE that the 103rd Street Footbridge to the Island is still under repair and is not expected to be open by tournament day
BY CAR / TAXI:
From Manhattan: FDR Drive to the Triborough Bridge at East 125th Street. Stay to the
left on the bridge for the exit to Randall’s Island. Pay toll and when you come off the exit
ramp stay to the right and follow the road towards the South end of the island – keep an eye out for our high tech directional arrows. Fields will be on the right.
From Long Island: Grand Central Parkway west to Triborough Bridge. After going over
the bridge, and prior to paying the toll, stay to the right towards Manhattan and Randall’s
Island. Pay toll and when you come off the exit ramp stay to the right and come back
around in a U-turn, following the road. Fields will be on the right.
From the North: New York State Thruway (I-87) south. I-87 will turn into the Major
Deegan Expressway. Follow signs to the Triborough Bridge. When entering bridge stay
to right and be ready for a sharp right turn towards Manhattan and Randall’s Island. Pay
toll and when you come off the exit ramp stay to the right and come back around in a U-turn, following the road. Fields will be on the right.
From the East: Route 95 west to the Bruckner Expressway (route 278) to the Triborough
Bridge. When entering bridge stay to right and be ready for a sharp right turn towards
Manhattan and Randall’s Island. Pay toll and when you come off the exit ramp stay to
the right and come back around in a U-turn, following the road. Fields will be on the
right.
From the West: Take the George Washington Bridge to the Major Deegan Expressway
(route 87) south to Triborough Bridge. When entering bridge stay to right and be ready
for a sharp right turn towards Manhattan and Randall’s Island. Pay toll and when you
come off the exit ramp stay to the right and come back around in a U-turn, following the
road. Fields will be on the right.
By Subway/Bus: Take the 4, 5, or 6 Lexington Ave. trains to 125th St., and then transfer
on the NW corner of 125th St. and Lexington Ave. for the M35 bus to Randall’s Island.
Get off at Charles Gay Center (approx the 4th stop. Ask the bus driver to let you know when). After exiting the bus, follow the road to the fields underneath the underpass.
