This year the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City will be showcasing the documentary short film 'The Rugby Boys of Memphis' by director David Darg, whose previous work included 'Body Team 12' and 'Sun City Picture House'. This short tells the story of Calvin Gentry, whose high school rugby career won him a scholarship to College. The film also takes a look at life in inner-city Memphis and see the ways in which rugby is much more than a game.
The Tribeca Film Festival runs from April 19 through the 30th. Ticket packages are on sale now, and single tickets will be available for purchase starting Tuesday, March 28. Packages and passes are now available for purchase on the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival App, on:
